Creative Changes Coming to Catwoman, Klarion Getting His Own Series

At long last, Catwoman might get the chance to actually (dare I say it) have a shot at getting a good series in The New 52! Ann Nocenti, everyone’s favorite writer will be leaving the main title to be replaced by Genevieve Valentine, known for her prose novels. Taking over Catwoman will mark her debut as a writer of comic books. She will join artist Garry Brown (Iron Patriot, Ghosted) on the feline fronted series. The plan is that this new Catwoman will spin directly out of the events of Batman Eternal, which has had a fairly heavy focus on Catwoman.

After leaving Catwoman, Nocenti is getting the chance to destroy yet another character. This time, it will be Klarion the Witch Boy, making his debut in The New 52. Along with artist Trevor McCarthy, Nocenti will likely debut the lowest selling book of The New 52.

Klarion will debut on October 8th, and the new creative team will debut in Catwoman #25, being released on October 22nd.
