Minecraft PS4 Edition Releasing Today

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Brian Silva has just announced that Mojang’s hit sandbox game Minecraft will be releasing digitally on the PS4 tomorrow. The game which had recently undergone problems in the QA phases of development is being ported to Sony’s newest console by developer 4J Studios, also in charge of the PS3, PS Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions of the game. The game will set you back $19.99 unless you have previously bought it on PS3 in which case it will cost only $4.99. Furthermore, users will be able to import their PS3 worlds into the game¬†although the opposite is not true due to the larger world sizes on the PS4. Check out the trailer below:
