The Most Anticipated Games Still To Come on Xbox One

We are back today with more of my most anticipated games coming up this fall! This time we are going to check out what is coming up on Xbox One! Until recently Microsoft has had some trouble selling their (formerly) gigantic and unsightly console compared to Sony, but a lot of great games have still come to this system. Since the launch of the Xbox One S earlier this year however sales have been jumping rapidly and with them new game announcements. This is going to be a big end-of-year for Microsoft in terms of releases, so let’s check them out! Not all of these will be Xbox exclusive titles, they are simply what I am most excited for that is upcoming (that I haven’t already talked about for another platform)!

If you want to check out things on the Playstation front this fall, then go ahead and click right here!

Gears of War 4 – October 11

This game is very long awaited and has a lot of player’s hopes very high, and for good reason. The trailers we have seen look fantastic and the game seems to be getting back to it’s roots with less all out action and more environmental storytelling and overall feeling. This is subjective of course, so if you want to see for yourself then check it out below!

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience – October 11

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain came out last year, and was my game of the year! It’s so ridiculously good, I think at last check I put in just over 300 hours. The Definitive Experience is definitely going to be the version to play if you haven’t had the chance to pick it up yet. It includes the main game, the prequel Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and all of their respective DLC.

Battlefield 1 – October 21

Are you burned out on the typical modern FPS game that seems to come out every year? Well luckily the two major players in this genre are both switching things up this time around! Battlefield 1 brings us all the way back to the original Great War and plopping us down right into the middle of World War 1. Promising a campaign and full multiplayer spanning several widely varied environments, it looks like it is going right to the top of my “must play” list on Xbox One!

Titanfall 2 – October 21

October 21 is shaping up to be a crazy day for game releases, from Battlefield 1 to the much more modern Titanfall 2, you are going to have a whole lot of shooting to do this fall! The original Titanfall was highly anticipated but fell short of many people’s expectations due to the lack of single player and depth in the multiplayer modes. The developer Respawn Entertainment looks to have heard our pleas and is bringing a full campaign as well as a ton of new and improved multiplayer features to this sequel. You know you want more robots in your life, so pick this game up!

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – November 4

Remember when I mentioned that both the major FPS franchises are radically switching things up this time around? Well this game is what I was talking about. Inifinity Ward is bringing us all of great Call of Duty Mechanics that we love, but sticking it right into space. Literally! Based in the distant future, you will enjoy large scale battles on both land and among the stars. Of course, it is also bringing back zombies.

Many of the great games coming to Xbox One this fall I have already touched on in the Playstation version of this post, but they are still worth mentioning! Games like Final Fantasy XV, Watch Dogs 2, Mafia 3, and more are all coming to most of the major consoles this fall, so no matter where your allegiance lies you will be sure to have a ton of great stuff to play!
