First appearing in 1939’s Detective Comics #27, Batman has become the most popular and recognizable superhero in pop culture history reaching into all forms of media and not only claiming the most successful superhero film franchise, but also the most successful superhero videogame franchise with Rocksteady Studio’s Arkham franchise.
