Pros
- Super comfy ear cups allow for a pain and heat-free experience for hours.
- Quickswitch Bluetooth allows for a near-seamless transition from a dongle connected device to a Bluetooth enabled device.
- Audio quality is levels above the gen 2s and on par with the older Stealth 700s
- Mic is a clear and easy to use.
- Additional customization via the Turtle Beach Swam 2 app is a huge plus.
Cons
- Lack of an area to put the USB dongle in the headset can allow the dongle to go missing if switching between multiple devices.
In Summary
The Stealth 600 Gen 3 are a massive step up from the Gen 2s. Yes I did enjoy the Gen 2s, but what an upgrade the Gen 3s provide. MOre battery life (80 hours), better feel overall (taking a page out of the Stealth 700s book) and a cleaner look overall make these a great mid-level headset. And at $99 USD its crazy how much they added to them. I do wish that there was some way to keep the dongle in the headset somehow ala Turtle Beachs wireless mice, but really its a small and avoidable nuisance in an otherwise great headset that’s well worth upgrading if you have the older Stealth 600s.
