Warner Bros. Unveils New Logo and Plans for Batman’s 75th Anniversary

Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have officially announced their plans to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Dark Knight. The new logo (featured above) will go along with a wide variety of events that will last all year-long and span across all divisions of Warner Bros. Entertainment including film, TV, comics, and much more. There will also be a “Cape/Cowl/Create” art exhibit “featuring 20 contemporary artists’ interpretation of The Dark Knight’s iconic cowl and headpiece from the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight videogame” which will release this October for Xbox One and Playstation 4.

First appearing in 1939’s Detective Comics #27, Batman has become the most popular and recognizable superhero in pop culture history reaching into all forms of media and not only claiming the most successful superhero film franchise, but also the most successful superhero videogame franchise with Rocksteady Studio’s Arkham franchise. Chief Executive Officer of Warner Bros.
