The sequel to 2012’s pseudo-prequel to Ridley Scott’s Alien franchise has been officially given a release date! Well, not a specific date, but it’s better than nothing! That is, if you were into the first Prometheus. Regardless, the movie will hit theaters in March of 2016, almost a full four years after the release of the original.
In addition, it has been confirmed that Michael Fassbender, who played the android David in Prometheus, will be returning, presumably in the same role, for the sequel. In addition, a recent report from The Wrap made the claim that he will not play one, but multiple versions of the David android.
