Brandon Routh has just been cast as Ray Palmer, aka the Atom, for Season 3 of Arrow.
Routh is no stranger to DC as he has famously portrayed Superman in Superman Returns. However, he wasn’t met with completely positive reception for that role. The Atom is one of the superheroes who is powerful and difficult to portray on television. He has the ability to rearrange his subatomic particles and hence receive a host of powers. His origin and skill set will probably be modified for Arrow.
Routh joins Devon Akai, who is slated to play Katana. Fans will be delighted to see such familiar characters on Arrow.
