Captain America 3 reportedly in the works, will feature the return of Winter Soldier directors

A lot of good things are being said about the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, coming this April, but according to Variety, the situation is so good that a third Captain America movie will happen and it will feature the return of directors Anthony and Joe Russo, who directed The Winter Soldier.

“Marvel has been so impressed with the production of Winter Soldier, as well as with strong results from recent test screenings, that the studio has moved fast to attach the brothers to the next installment.” says Variety. Right now, it seems unless The Winter Soldier totally flops at the box office, which is highly unlikely, we’ll see Chris Evans return to the Captain America role once again. The movie’s title and writer have not yet been selected, but the Russo brothers and Marvel are already working on the overall plot.

This would make Captain America the first solo hero to receive a third movie at Marvel Studios after the success of Iron Man 3, it’s not unlikely Thor will also become a trilogy, since last year’s The Dark World was another success.
