It’s Bungie day and the Destiny news is coming hot and heavy.
First up is the Ghost Edition of the game. It will run $149.99 and feature the following.
-A steelbook disc case and disc copy of the game
-A field manual with “handwritten” notes
-An “antique” star chart
-A Guardian folio
-4 postcards from the Golden Age (i.e. Earth before the Darkness decimated it)
-The Destiny Expansion Pass ($34.99 value; good for Expansion I and Expansion II)
-Collector’s Edition Digital Content (an in-game Ghost skin, player emblem, and ship skin)
-And the centerpiece: a life-size replica of the Ghost robot, complete with lights and Peter Dinklage dialogue samples.
There will also be a Limted Edition at $99.99 that will include everything in the Ghost Edition except the exclusive Ship skin, ghost skin, badge and the fancy Ghost replica.
Lastly a digital Guardian Edition will run $89.99 and will include the Collectors edition content minus the steel book and physical disc.
On the Beta front we know the Beta will be coming to Ps3 and Ps4 on July 17th but today it was announced that on July 21st the Beta will go off long for Maitenemce before opening to everyone on Wednesday July 23rd. The Beta will end on Sunday July 27th.
Lastly Bungie released this slick new trailer for
the coming Beta.
