New York – Tuesday 20th May, Microsoft have announced the latest addition to the Surface range. The ever original Surface Pro 3.
Microsoft are doing their darnedest to eliminate the laptop, and with this newest offering they seem to be getting ever closer to that.
They have announced 5 ranges of the Surface Pro 3, with a starting price of $799 which will give you 64GB of storage, intel core i3 processor and 4GB of RAM. Top of the line models will set you back $1,949 which comes with the Core i7 processor and 8GB RAM.
It will boast a 12 inch screen compared to the 10.6 inch on the Pro 2, making it one of the biggest in the table market, and pretty solid for a notebook as well.
On the face of it, it looks like Microsoft may have found an alternative tot he MacBook Air, but in a industry built on sales it is really a wait and see game.
