Some new details have emerged from E3 about Mortal Kombat X.
Some new characters have been announced. D’Vorrah is a human/insect hybrid who can attack with insect limbs and summon bugs. Cassie Cage is the daughter of Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, and shares many moves with her progenitors. Kotal Khan looks almost like an aztec god. Ferra/Torr is a hybrid character. Ferra rides on Torr and can be thrown at enemies.
The story of Mortal Kombat will take place over the course of 25 years starting from the end of MK 9. The game will run at 1080p at 60FPS.
Some new features include each character having unique pre-match dialog for every opponent. Another new addition is the combat style feature. Before each match you can choose from one of three different styles that will affect your move set for the match. You can see the game in action in the video below.
