A fair mix of games arriving this week, but those hitting their local cineplex may take more notice as Jack Sparrow embarks on his last adventure. Disney headlines the Memorial Day weekend with the final (at least, for now) installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Dead Men Tell No Tales. The strategy/RPG Disgaea 5 gets a Complete edition for the Nintendo Switch, and Darksiders Warmastered Edition arrives for the Wii U. The puzzle/ platformer Rime will be available for all three consoles, and for fans of 80s slasher films can indulge their inner Jason (or try to kill said masked man) as Friday the 13th: The Game hits PC, PS4, and the Xbox One. Some big titles arrive on home video this week, including the excellent comic book film Logan, the thought-provoking and critically well received horror movie Get Out, and the Matt Damon martial arts/monster movie The Great Wall. Also dropping this week on Netflix is the anticipated war satire War Machine, starring Brad Pitt. Time now for this week’s list and, as always, release dates are subject to change.
