It’s a big week as we get into November, with plenty of games, home video releases, and a spanking new console (check out our preview of the latest from Microsoft!). Yes, Microsoft releases its new console powerhouse on Tuesday in the form of the Xbox One X. For those who like to race fast cars and evade police pursuit, there’s Need for Speed Payback. A new platformer arrives with Super Lucky’s Tale, and the familiar blue hedgehog returns in Sonic Forces. Horizon Zero Dawn gets a nice expansive bit of DLC, and Telltale brings out Episode 5 for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Hitting home video this week is the Pixar sequel Cars 3, the drama The Glass Castle, and the horror flick Darkness Rising. Arriving in theaters this week is the comedy Daddy’s Home 2 and the classic Agatha Christie remake Murder on the Orient Express. Time for this week’s list and, as always, release dates are subject to change.
