Riding a wave of praise from comic book pros such as Jason Aaron, Jonathon Hickman, Dennis Hopeless, Kieron Gillen, and a multitude of others, Image has released early pages from their upcoming series Drifter. The series, written by Ivan Brandon (Wolverine) and drawn by Nic Klein (Thor), is being billed as a “dark sci-fi series.” It follows a character named Abram Pollux, who has crashed landed on a backwater planet called Ouro. An official description is below:
This world’s unique properties set the stage for a story that combines the dark wonder of a strange and alien landscape with the struggles of an abandoned and lawless frontier town

Drifter will be hitting comic book stores everywhere on December 11th. Two variant covers will be available, one from Cliff Chiang (swoon), and the other from Esad Ribic.
