Resident Evil Revelations 2 is reportedly on the way after Xbox.com hosted cover art for the potential sequel.
This news was originally reported by IGN, but Capcom revealed to the site that no updates or announcements have been made regarding Resident Evil Revelations 2. The sequel could be released to coincide with next year’s remastered version of Resident Evil Revelations for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
The sequel seems likely because the cover art still appears on Xbox.com. You would think that the images would be quickly removed from Xbox’s web site if the game was false. One other reason why the sequel seems likely is the need for a successful entry in the Resident Evil series. The original Revelations sold well and was universally liked, but the main console Resident Evil games have been lacking in quality.
