A trailer has been released for The Equalizer, a reboot of the 80’s TV show.
In The Equalizer, Denzel Washington plays a former black-ops commando who fakes his death to lead a quiet life in Boston. Washington’s quiet life is interrupted when Russian gangsters take a young girl, so he starts fighting again.
Antoine Fuqua (Olympus Has Fallen, Shooter) has been tapped to direct the film. Fuqua previously worked with Denzel Washington on Training Day.
The Equalizer is set to release fall 2014.
