Staying true to his teaser image that was posted on Twitter yesterday, Batman vs Superman director Zack Snyder has just revealed the first image of the newest film incarnation of the Batmobile, but along with the ride comes the man who built it.
Initially met with a large amount of criticism when the casting of Ben Affleck was announced back in October of last year, fans have slowly begun to come around to the idea of the Oscar-winning actor portraying everyone’s favorite billionaire vigilante, and the suit just confirms those thoughts. While the image is in grayscale, judging from the different levels of light coming off of the suit, the utility belt, cape, and gloves appear to be completely black while the suit itself seems to be a dark grey color. The suit also seems to be inspired by the comics much more than that of Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy.
Batman vs. Superman is set to release May 6th, 2016 and is set to begin principle production within the coming months. More news will to come on this film as it’s released and be sure to check back for a full examination of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman’s suits once they are revealed.
