Once again another Marvel character seems to be getting a trilogy, and after earning over $630 million on box office with The Dark World, it’s no surprise that Thor will be getting a third installment. Variety, who also reported the Captain America 3 news – is saying not only Chris Hemsworth will be back as Thor and Kevin Feige as the producer, but Thor 3 will also feature the return of Craig Kyle and Christopher Yost, from Thor: The Dark World.
Kyle was a producer in The Dark World, working closely on set, while Yost, who worked on plenty of Marvel animation before, polished the final version of the script. The duo would co-write Thor 3, and while there’s no word on the plot for now, it’s a safe bet to assume Tom Hiddleston’s Loki will also make a return, given the character’s popularity.
So, it looks like Marvel’s Phase 3 is looking more and more to feature sequels. We still have hope for Doctor Strange and Black Panther though!
