Tim Blake Nelson is in final talks to play Dr. Harvey Elder, otherwise known as the Mole Man in the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot. The Hollywood Reporter mentions that only Dr. Elder will be making an appearance in this film, presumably setting up Mole Man as a future villain.
Fans may remember Nelson as Dr. Samuel Sterns, aka The Leader, in 2008’s Marvel solo film The Incredible Hulk.
The reboot of Fantastic Four stars Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Jamie Bell, and Toby Kebbell as Victor Von Doom. The film is scheduled to open on June 19th, 2015.
