The latest victim to the barrage of videogame delays, Arkham Knight, has been officially pushed back to 2015.
Following the delays of The Order: 1886 and The Evil Within, Arkham Knight’s delay might actually do it some good as the rushed Arkham Origins was not received well by fans. Arkham Knight, being the conclusion in arguable one of the best videogame series, has some high standards to meet. Rocksteady echoes this belief and are looking to go out with a bang. As Rocksteady’s Dax Ginn said, “Awesome takes time”. We can only hope that all the kinks are worked out by the time the game comes out.
Rocksteady was almost downright cruel when they teased the Batmobile in all its glory, sporting its Battle Mode look. Batman’s signature vehicle appears to be chock full of weaponry, and fans are downright giddy with anticipation to control the Batmobile. The timing could not have been worse, as the delay means fans have to wait that much longer to ‘Be the Batman’.
