Despite the fact that many have been sure of the fact that the TV show Arrow would be renewed for a third season, it is now somewhat official. Stephen Amell, who plays the main character Oliver Queen/The Arrow on the show confirmed on Twitter today that Arrow would be returning with the simple Tweet:
This seems to be confirmation enough that the show, based on the Green Arrow comic book published by DC, will return for a third season. It’s unsurprising, really, considering how strong the show’s second season has been up until this point. Here’s hoping for a third season will surpass the current season, and allows the show to continue into the future. In the meantime, you can wait for the new episode of Arrow to premiere on February 28th.
