Developer Don’t Nod (Vampyr, Life Is Strange, Remember Me) returns with a strong story driven action adventure Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. The game follows Banishers and lovers Antea Duarte and Red Mac Raith as they travel to the New England town of New Eden, which is beset by a curse. While a somewhat open world, the game is a fairly linear one, unfolding over 20-30 hours.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a strong story driven title. The main story is interesting and the side quests involving hauntings are nicely done. New England in the 1600s makes for an appropriately creepy setting for a tale that involves curses and witches. Combat is fun, though after 20-30 hours of gameplay it can be repetitive. Well worth checking out for the story alone.
