After months of speculation and rumors, Warner Brothers Studios has officially announced the title for Zack Snyder’s sequel to Man of Steel. The film, set to open May 6th, 2016, will be titled Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. This comes as no surprise as it was considered early on that the title “Batman vs. Superman” was simply a placeholder until the production crew finally settled on a title.
This title is no doubt a reference to the Justice League film that was recently announced which will begin filming immediately after Batman vs. Superman and is estimated to release no sooner than 2017.
After the dozens of possibilities and rumors surrounding this project, what do you think of the choice? Stay tuned to We The Nerdy for more Batman vs. Superman news and more from DC and Warner Bros. Pictures.
Hmmmmmm… okay. Sure. I’ll take it.
