So, let us start off with the first thing that all of us are going to notice. The graphics and details in the characters and the fields are FANTASTIC. A great combination between the aspects of traditional football and the Warhammer franchise we all know and love. The one downside to this aspect of the game is the limited access players have to modify the appearance of the players the way they would like, but all in all the game itself is very visually pleasing.

The story mode is nothing but a glorified tutorial the ENTIRE TIME which becomes very monotonous and repetitive very quickly. The AI is very inconsistent, in some matches you will be handed the game and in others the AI is godly and cannot be stopped. The multiplayer gameplay is where the real challenge occurs and provides much more realistic gameplay versus the story mode as I mentioned previously.

The greatest part of the game is the strategy involved in playing even the easiest of matches against the very moody AI or a fellow gamer in multiplayer. The mechanics and steps in taking each turn are very well made and extremely detailed. Even one false move or failure will end your turn immediately and hand the reigns over to your opponent with a great chance to capitalize on your mistakes. Perfection is impossible but sometimes needed to pass certain matches throughout the story mode.

I believe one of the biggest downfalls in this title is the amount of players it will really appeal to. The game is very attractive visually and very challenging at times mentally but the truth is it is geared for a very specific audience and priced too high for possible new fans to really give a game like this a chance. The people who will purchase this game at over 40.00$ brand new are the diehard Warhammer fans who see the obvious resemblance between this game and the Warhammer franchise. The only other people who will really be interested in giving this game a shot for the first time are players who thoroughly enjoy a turn by turn strategy game.
