How far would you go to protect your family? That was the solicit for this issue and to be honest though I love this book, I felt a bit misled by this preview. Despite this problem, this was another strong issue which was full of surprises, action, and clever dialogue.

Clone has done really well at providing multiple strands of storyline, and in this issue we get two which both carry on from the previous issue. Amelia having been fixed up by medic clone of Luke is suffering from infection to her gun wound and Luke has to come up with a way of getting her meds in order to keep her alive. While Amelia’s mother gets a friendly visit from our former coalition mad lady who has come to visit the offspring of Amelia and Luke, what she wants from this visit is both quite surprising and displays really nicely the development of this character as shown initially in the previous issue.

What follows are two fantastically well-paced and written narratives which, I won’t spoil the conclusions, really drive the story forward and shows us the continued development of these characters. We see desperation from Luke and we see recovery from crazy lady (I should really remember her name!!).

The art was once again flawless and really showcases the narrative, what seems to be, effortlessly and makes for a very pleasant read. The consistency that this series has had over the past 18 issues is a real credit to the art on this book, it is simple yet so detailed and the action sequences are just as powerful as the static calm sequences.

This really was another great issue it was has been a great series so far. The shocking last page of each narrative really entices the reader to return, and I for one will be one of them that will!!
