Disney Illusion Island is a solidly made game and works as a nice introduction to the metroidvania genre. Difficulty can be adjusted to just about anyone’s playstyle, though diehard fans of the genre might still find it too easy. The animation is beautiful and smooth. It really feels like you are playing an episode of the new Mickey Mouse cartoons. Fans of the Disney cartoons will find everything they like here from the storytelling to the cute characterizations. One can play solo or multiplayer co-op, so the whole family can enjoy. This is a must pick up for gaming Disney fans.
