Continuing a pattern started earlier this week, EA Sports is releasing the top 5 players at each position. Thursday’s players are running backs and fullbacks.
Not surprisingly, Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings is the top-rated runner with a 98 overall. The rest of the list is as follows:
1) Adrian Peterson – 98 Overall
2) Lesean McCoy – 97 Overall
3) Jamaal Charles – 97 Overall
4) Matt Forte – 95 Overall
5) Marshawn Lynch – 95 Overall
John Kuhn of the Green Bay Packers tops the list of fullbacks with a 93 overall rating. Kuhn excels in blocking, running, and pass catching. The rest of the fullbacks are listed below.

2) Mike Tolbert – 92 Overall
3) Marcel Reece – 92 Overall
4) Anthony Sherman – 90 Overall
5) Jerome Felton – 88 Overall
It is surprising to see two Minnesota Vikings listed in the top 5 after their disappointing 2013 season. However, you can’t deny that Adrian Peterson consistently proves that he is the best running back in the NFL.
