The Playstation 4 has been out now for almost 6 months and it has brought a lot of joy to those that own one. However, it has also brought some frustration to gamers as well. The light bar on the controller has yet to find a purpose for us, except for a battery-draining feature that we don’t really need. I’m not saying that it’s a way for Sony to upset us, but we’ve yet to find a reason that we need a bright colored light shining from our controllers. That’s where Flaming Toast comes in.
This very brilliant and resourceful company took a frustrating and seemingly unnecessary feature to create a way for gamers to personalize their controller. This isn’t just some bedazzling kit for your controller or some generic “your name here” sticker. You literally can put almost any design or name on this sticker that will cover your light bar. On their website, you can see Spiderman symbols, nicknames, or just cool designs for your light bar. The decal is open where the design lies, so that tag line, name, or design shines bright while your sniping your opponent or learning a new power.
These decals are easy to place and even easier to remove. There’s a nice clear film that will keep the sticker protected until you lay it on the light bar. Removing them is no hassle either. There is no residue left and that means no time spent cleaning your controller. Flaming Toast also sells the stickers in pairs for a low price of $4.25, so you can place them on both controllers. You also could choose to share them with your friends or family. (That’s actually what I did)
These stickers are not going to be some game changer for gaming or a new VR headset. They are a great way to personalize your controller and the epitome of making lemonade out of lemons. Flaming Toast gave us an awesome way to label our controllers and they look incredible too. I highly recommend these decals for your controller if you’d like some personality added to your gaming experience.
