Kickstarter’s Temple Wars Is The World’s First Fan-Funded Cinematic Universe Like Marvel And DC
Temple Wars is a transmedia project aiming to get backers to co-create a new marvel-esque universe.
New York City, New York, October, 12, 2016 – New media franchise Temple Wars has announced today that it is raising funds through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. The company is set out to raise $10,000 to bring their “transmedia” world to life. For those who love the universes of Marvel and DC, Temple Wars offers a new battleground of good and evil to conquer. Funds raised will help develop: a collectible card game, a young adult fantasy novel, a screenplay, an audio book, a concept art book, a soundtrack and an animated film. “This will grow a new type of transmedia universe, that takes the backers as creative partners in the growth of the franchise” says Rohit Gaur the creator of the franchise. Gaur is hoping the Temple Wars will set the way for crowdfunded transmedia projects.
The kickstarter will launch on October 10th, 2016.

You give this game a 6.5 for a lack of innovation yet you give Uncharted 4 a 10 despite it not innovating at all and having a trash multiplayer component.
Hey Skorge!
I’ve now had a chance to jump into Gears and I mostly agree with Andrew on this one. I haven’t finished the campaign yet but the first two acts are actually quite bad. Things are leveling out in Act 3 but that’s a significant portion of a campaign that really isn’t that good at all. Multiplayer, on the other hand, is frantic and fantastic. I played six consecutive hours of Horde on my first night and it’s all I can think about. This past weekend, I played some Double XP, and had a blast.
I stand by my 10 for Uncharted 4. I think that game is on another level but when we review games, we don’t typically look at one game versus another. I always review a game on its own merits – not what it does or doesn’t do compared to another. I think you’re marginalizing Andrew’s review based on the Pros/Cons list and for that, I don’t think your comment is a good one. Also, it’s “biased” not “bias” – Bias is a noun, it’s a thing. Biased is an adjective. Mixing those terms up will always invalidate your comments when having discussions with reviewers – which is too bad because you’re clearly a passionate gamer.
Then why is it that Gears gets panned for having a weaker campaign (at least the first 2 acts, I agree that it picks up in Act 3) yet Uncharted gets a pass despite having a trash multiplayer?
This has nothing to with one game vs another, it’s a double standard and one game is getting a pass for it’s short comings while the other is getting panned
At least now I can see why this site has such low traffic, this is a comic relief site that can’t be taken seriously.
Skorge,
I find it funny you deleted your previous comments to somehow make it seem like you can’t take critism.
Again, these are two totally different games and Sean liked one more so than the other. There is no double standard here.
Uncharted has never been a fully MP based game like Gears was. Uncharted has a decent MP sure, but only a select amount of people will ever stay around to play it.
I find your comment about We The Nerdy being a comic relief site offensive to me since I’ve put my blood, sweat, and tears into this place for people like yourself to come for a different viewpoint from some other sites.
What I also find amusing is I see you constantly finding sites that have scored GoW 4 low and trying to vilify them. This is one persons (in this case two) OPINION. Do I need to explain what an opinion is?
I could say your opinion of John Cena is absurd and downright wrong, but I don’t because I respect that it’s your opinion and won’t vilify you for it.
Fact of the matter is this:
We are a reputable website that was provided this, and many other games, comics, etc for free because we have a unique voice and content and have a very loyal fan base that yes may be small, but is constantly growing (we’re still top 400,000 websites in the world).
Best thing I could recommend for you Skorge is to take your energy and focus it on something more positive. If you think we’re wrong, biased or just plain trashy go start writing, podcasting, vlogging, about things so you are presented with the same or better opportunities we have been so thankful to have been provided for 3 years now.
So why did you judge Gears on it’s campaign then? Why is it that you docked points from it for it’s campaign when, according to you, it’s a fully MP based game?
This is the issue here dude, a SP focused game like Uncharted 4 doesn’t get judged for it’s trashy MP, fair enough
A (by your own words) fully multiplayer based game like Gears gets docked for it’s campaign.
That is a double standard. And for the record I actually agree with Sean in that the game’s first 2 acts are boring and while it’s great from Act 3 on, I shouldn’t have to trudge through 2 acts to get to the good stuff, I get that. But again, this according to you is a fully MP based game that’s being judged off of it’s campaign.
Because that is what I had a chance to play and, again, if you listened or watched the review we clearly state that fact. We did this review before thw world had full access to the game and thus didn’t want to review that component and be called out for it later if it was bad at launch.
Personally I’ve always been a fan of the campaigns of Gears games, with 3 still being my favorite.
Don’t get me wrong, Gears isn’t the worst campaign I’ve played this year nor is the whole package bad, but there was a lot left to be desired.
Also, I see you didn’t read or just want to ignore the rest of my comment so I’m going to end this discussion now and once again wish you have a nice day and thank you for visiting the site
So you didn’t wait until after the game came out and the world had “access” to the game then? Seems like a terrible way to review a “fully MP game” by not waiting to test it’s MP component to the fullest.
So basically, because you enjoyed Gears campaigns, you were more harsh on this one, so if you didn’t enjoy them in the previous games, would you have been less harsh on Gears 4’s campaign?
@Skorge
Different people, different opinions
This is the same guy, Sean Capri, having an opinion is one thing, having a double standard, which is the case here, is another.
Skorge, did you listen to the audio, where it states I, Andrew Semicek, am the one doing the review?
No you didn’t. Sean was just nice enough to publish the article since I’m busy running the site and getting things like Gears of War 4 a week plus earlier than the public to provide honest, NON BIASED, reviews to the people who come to my site.
Have a nice day
