Ever since the “Rise and Fall of the Shi’ar Empire” story arc from 2007, Christopher Summers, the father of Scott Summers (Cyclops) has been dead. Or at least, that’s what we thought of the space pirate Corsair, who appeared to have been killed off in this story arc. However, death is a revolving door in comics, so, unsurprisingly, he’s coming back!
And guess who else is back? Greg freaking Rucka (Lazarus, The Punisher)! He’s coming back to Marvel! And he’s coming back to write an X-Men comic, just proving that the X-Men section of Marvel is probably the strongest content that they’re putting out right now. The other half of the creative team of this new Cyclops book is Russel Dauterman (Nightwing). Oh yeah, this is a new book being announced. The thing is, that’s over shadowed by the fact that Greg Rucka will be writing a new Marvel book!
