FOX has landed a huge star to play a role in the upcoming Gotham t.v series. Jada Pinkett Smith is now attached to the show in the role of a villain ; Fish Mooney. The series is Batman esque prequel, however based off of Commissioner Gordon well before Batman’s presence is known in Gotham.

Fish mooney is described as: “….an imposing, hotheaded and notoriously sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner with street smarts and almost extra-sensory abilities to read people like an open book who is not one to be crossed.” It is fair to speculate that she will be the boss of Oswald Cobblpot ( the Penguin), portrayed by Robin Lorde Taylor.
Along with the aforementioned Taylor, Ben Mackenzie is attached as the lead in James Gordon, Erin Richards is Barbara Kean (Gordon’s finance), Zabryna Guevera is Sarah Eisen, Donald Logue is Harvey Bullock and Sean Pertwee is Alfred.
Pinkett Smith, who is the wife of mega movie star Will Smith, has been in such movies as Crash and The Pursuit of Happiness amongst others. In terms of T.V she is a pretty big get for any series in development.
