A spin off of the Like A Dragon series from RGG Studio, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii takes place after the events in Infinite Wealth. The game places Goro Majima front and center, washed up on an island and suffering from amnesia. Goro is found by a young boy and his pet tiger cub, and a chain of events lead him to commanding his own Pirate ship. The game features plenty of action and loads of exploration and side activities, including ship battles. It’s a load of fun from start to finish, with plenty of content to keep players entertained for its 25-50 hour length.

PROS
Plenty of content and a nice length of 25-50 hours of gameplay
Choice of language for spoken dialogue

In all, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is a joy from start to finish. The action lives up to the series high bar, and adds Pirate ship battles into the mix. There’s a good amount of customization, and taking the time to explore feels rewarding. An easy purchase to recommend. One of the best Pirate video games to date.
