Ed Boon has officially announced the next game in the long-running Mortal Kombat series. Officially titled Mortal Kombat X, the game will be coming in 2015.

You can watch the announcement trailer below which features the two most iconic Mortal Kombat characters, Subzero and Scorpion, facing off. You’ll have to watch the trailer to find out who wins. Mortal Kombat X is being developed by NetherRealm Studios, developers of the 2011 series reboot. No word on release platforms yet.
