Not much in the way of games this week. The action RPG Bastion makes its way to the Xbox One, and the farming sim/RPG Stardew Valley arrives on consoles. The fifth episode of Batman: The Telltale Series arrives this week, along with the “Blizzard Mountain” expansion for Forza Horizon 3. The latest comic book movie from DC and Warner Bros arrives on home video this week as Suicide Squad gets an extended cut. Also hitting home video this week is the Tim Burton fantasy film Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, the comedy Bridget Jones’s Baby, and the historical action movie Ben-Hur.
The highlight of the week, of course, is the first stand alone Star Wars movie from Disney and Lucasfilm. Rogue One hits theaters this week, and it looks like from advance ticket sales to be another huge winner at the box office. Also hitting theaters this week is the Will Smith drama Collateral Beauty and the musical La La Land. Off we got to this week’s list and, as always, release dates are subject to change.
