As we exit October and enter November, that can only mean one thing: It’s time for that juggernaut, Call of Duty, to release its new title. This year Sledgehammer Games takes the series back to its roots with WWII. A bunch of minor titles make up the selection for those not into the Activision shooter, but after a very crowded October 27 that saw three major game releases, the return of a major horror franchise to the big screen, and the second season of Stranger Things on Netflix, it’s nice for a slightly quieter week. Hitting home video this week is the Stephen King adaptation The Dark Tower, along with the Halle Berry thriller, Kidnap. Theatrical releases open on two days this week, with the comedy A Bad Moms Christmas hitting theaters on Wednesday and the next entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Thor: Ragnarok, arrives on Friday. Time now for this week’s list and, as always, release dates are subject to change.
