Pros
- Multiple connection options: Bluetooth, wired via USB-C, and wireless via USB dongle allow a large variety of devices to connect to the keyboard seamlessly.
- Keyboard colors are very bright on the keyboard and are customizable.
- Typing is smooth and elegant and replacing the keys is easy.
- Multi-use dial allows further customization of the keyboard.
- Great battery life when used wirelessly.
Cons
- The included wrist rest doesn’t directly attach to the keyboard, causing occasional slips.
- Bluetooth pairing using so many keys is still obnoxious.
In Summary
While not normally a fan of the 65% keyboards the CK721 really surprised me. Typing on it was much better than previous Cooler Master keyboards reviewed, and the additional connection options allow for further flexibility, and typing feels much better as well. Though trying to connect to Bluetooth still feels more cumbersome than it should be, the CK721 is a massive leap forward for Cooler Master 60% keyboards overall.
