What’s it about:
Liked:
- Huge roster out of the box
- New Japan Wrestling inclusion
- Controls feel more No Mercy (N64) than they do Smackdown vs Raw
- Characters are all well animated
- So many match variables
- Near endless amount of character, ring, and belt creations
- Matches feel exhilarating and tense
- CPU can put up quite a challenge
- Career mode is a blast
Disliked:
- Random lack of key New Japan Wrestlers
- Controls not as spot on to gauge running moves and distance between people
- When playing local tag team matches its hard to discern who is selecting whom
