Raiden has been revealed to be a fighter in Mortal Kombat X trough a new gameplay trailer shown by developer Nether Realm Studios at the Evo 2014 Injustice grand-finals. The trailer focused mainly on Raiden’s three different fighting styles: Displacer Raiden, Storm Lord Raiden and Thunder God Raiden.
Displacer Raiden focuses on Raiden’s teleportation abilities, allowing him to teleport to either side of his opponent.
Storm Lord Raiden allows the fighter to toss out lightning bombs which can link up together and form a current of lightning between them.
Lastly, Thunder God Raiden gives the fighter more damage and forceful ways to finish his combos.
