Robbie Amell has just been cast as the popular superhero, Firestorm, and will appear on The Flash.
The cousin of Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen/Green Arrow, Robbie will play one half of Firestorm, Ronnie. Ronnie in the CW’s The Flash will be Caitlin Snow’s fiance, and plays a pivotal role in the particle accelerator accident that created Flash. Robbie’s casting follows a slew of casting news from Arrow, and it is great to see that CW’s other superhero show is given equal attention. Robbie will supposedly appear in the third episode.
