In the midst of talking about The Last of Us movie at SDCC, producer Sam Raimi also announced that Evil Dead will be getting its own TV show.
The director of the Evil Dead series stated that he will be working in collaboration with his brother, Ted Raimi, and Bruce Campbell will have a role to play in the TV show. It’s unclear what this means for the rumored Evil Dead sequels, though they will likely be cancelled or put on hold, if they ever existed to begin with.
