What better way to celebrate Batman’s 75th anniversary than by getting the best Batman game (for now!) for free? Today, Sony has revealed what games will be made free for PlayStation Plus’ North American subscribers in April. There’s a new PS4 game, three for PS3 and two for Vita.
The PS4 game is Mercenary Kings, a 2D action game releasing next Tuesday, April 1st. Vita owners can look forward to Velocity Ultra, the follow-up to 2012’s acclaimed Velocity and Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD. As for PS3, Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse, Stealth Inc. A Clone in the Dark and the big jam of the month, Batman: Arkham City will all become free during the month.
The order of release was not disclosed, but it’s safe to assume Mercenary Kings will come first as it launches on the first Tuesday of April, and like Outlast and Dead Nation: Apocalypse before it, the game will likely be free on Day 1.
