- Dedicated sound control buttons allow greater flexibility and avoid accidentally skipping a song.
- Full customization of actions in the Status app allows for flexibility of controls.
- Ear tips are wide and allow easy grip to both remove and insert from both the ear and case.
- Small form factor case fits in a pocket.
- ANC is superior to AirPod Pros.
Cons:
- When using a single earbud, you are unable to skip a song using only the left earbud.
In Summary
As someone who uses AirPod Pros daily, the Status Pro X’s are an excellent alternative to them. The dedicated sound control buttons alone make these a marked improvement over the AirPod Pros. Along with more customization options compared to the AirPod Pros, and being the same price right now, I’d highly recommend these as an alternative for any Bluetooth earbud user, whether they be using an iPhone or Android device.
