After much speculation confirmation came today that David Tennant will be returning to season 2 of ITV’s hit show Broadchurch, despite also signing up to play the same role in the US remake of the show Gracepoint.
As well as Tennant’s return to the show, Olivia Coleman Jodie Whittaker, Andrew Buchan and Arthur Darvill also reprise their roles.
ITV have yet to confirm what the plot, however they have said it will be “completely different to the first” .
Filming is due to take place in Dorset and will be written by Chris Chibnall who wrote and created season one of the show
