Oscar and I hope you are enjoying the new comics podcast which you can check out by subscribing on iTunes. Last week saw the release of some huge comics, this week is no different with DC releasing the next issue in the Deathstroke series, as well as a new Flash issue, and of course a new Multiversity #1. Marvel meanwhile have some cool stuff coming out with the latest Secret Avengers issue, Thor vs Thor in the new Thor issue, and the final tie-in for Spider-Verse with Spider-Man 2099 #8. From other publishers we have Valiant giving us, the latest Unity issue and its biggest seller X-O Manowar, and Image have the new issue of Zero, as well as the second issue of They’re Not Like Us! So much to choose!!!
Here are a handful we are particularly looking forward to and think you should pick up!

Yes, I know it might seem obvious and I am sure every other site will have it on their list but seriously guys if you are looking forward to another DC book this week more than this then let me know. After last month’s twists on the history of Joker as a character, the theories that have been circling each of our heads must be endless and wild as to what the Joker actually is. Endgame so far has been the pinnacle of this creative teams run and we can only hope that this forth chapter of this arc continues in the incredibly intense nature of the previous three. Go pick it up tomorrow!!

It’s a relaunch! A new jumping-on point! An all new adventure with an all new team for all new Marvel! Seriously, I was a huge fan of the last run and am looking forward to this new one. The big thing we are hoping Remender answers quickly is the fallout of AXIS and what are Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver’s true origins. There is so much to explore in this new series and I for one can’t wait to pick up this tomorrow!

I can’t describe how excited I am to read this, I’ve had it sitting on my desk since Friday and it hurts that I just haven’t had the time yet to pick it up! Anyway enough of me and back to the comic! I think we are in for a treat as we get a new Hickman ongoing. It looks like it’s going to be a more personable story than we are used to with Hickman’s book and this already has me intrigued. It’s being advertised as an Indiana Jones meets Old People kind of thing, and that just makes me giddy with excitement. From the solicit, it has all Dan Brown kinda mythology attached and this book sounds like it will tick every box for me so I for one want you all to go out and pick it up. By the way it’s a bit more expense than normal, but that’s because it is 64 pages people!!!
Which books are you looking forward to this Wednesday, let us know in the comments……
