Welcome to the eighteenth instalment of the weekly feature bringing you comic book previews on what we are looking forward to each and every week. Brought to you by our Comics Section Editors, Oscar Russell & Joel Raivid, with the general rule being that they will pick one indie, one DC and one Marvel and if merited an honorable mention (or two) that they think you should go and splash your cash on.
So if you are deciding how to spend your money this week on New Comic Book Day, don’t worry, we got you covered!! Here are a handful we think you should pick up!

After just finishing off a major storyline in the form of Zero Year, Snyder & Capullo are at it again with Endgame. I much prefer big arcs than small one-shots or two issue stories so for me this is another story I am looking forward to. What makes it so unique in my opinion is that I and nobody has any clue what it is about. However, with this creative team, I am sure there will be no disappointment.

It seems as though there have been many starts to the Spider-Verse Event which is about to take over in ASM. We have had numerous prelude issues, nearly at the end of an anthology mini-series, and now we are treated to more Edge of Spider-Verse. At some point Spider-Verse may actually start for real. Anyway, this issue sees the team up of Ms Marvel and Spider-Man, which is bound to be a hoot. Ms Marvel has been knocking it out the park issue after issue thus far, and now we get to see Slott’s take on the character which I am sure will have some people up in arms. Either way, I am in.

Another Scott Snyder book to look forward to this week. We have read it, it is superb, and one we definitely think you need to pick up. This issue has everything you want from a supernatural genre book about witches, it is chilling to the core and looks incredible thanks to Jock. Check out our full early review here

Joshua Williamson has been hitting it out the park at the moment with everything he is writing turning to gold. Nailbiter and Ghosted are two of my favourite books right now on the shelves and this new series looks like it is going to be right up there. What’s it about? Well it initially revolves around the disappearance of a young child that returns, but what happens next is not what you would expect and this issue is filled with twists. Its just awesome, and has tremendous art from Bressan too.
