The next Call of Duty will be subtitled Advanced Warfare; and in the leaked trailer posted by Destructoid we get a glimpse of some futuristic weapons and technology. The trailer is narrated by Kevin Spacey, whose likeness also appears. Earlier today Game Informer released a screenshot from the game, with news that the official unveiling of the game would be this Sunday at 10am PST.
There’s a lot going on within the trailer including hover bikes, Elysium-style exoskeletons, seemingly portable barriers, futuristic looking guns, cloaking, and of course Mr. Spacey.
At the end of the action packed trailer the release date is revealed to be November 4th, 2014. This latest Call of Duty is being developed by Sledgehammer games. Last year Activision announced the franchise would be moving to a three-year development cycle; transitioning between the traditional developers Infinity Ward and Treyarch, with Sledgehammer added to the mix.
