According to the Xbox Live Status page, the service is currently experiencing an outage. Purchase and content usage seem to be affected across all Xbox platforms while the Xbox Live core services remain up on the Xbox 360. Xbox Live sign-in also appears to be down across both Xbox consoles and PC.
