Stop! Don’t pay full price like a sucker. Major Nelson just announced five free games for December’s Games with Gold. Thanks to Backward Compatibility, all five titles will play on Xbox One, complete with multiplayer cross-play and all the next-gen features like GameDVR or in-home streaming to Windows 10. This is the future.

Doesn’t it seem like this one has been “coming to Xbox One” for the past two years? Well, now you can have your cake and – it’s free. Starting on December 1, Xbox Live Gold members can download The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and there’s no feeling of grief. Because Xbox Live Members, can freely download Thief. More accurately, Thief will be free on December 16 – two days after Hanukkah.
Xbox 360
It’s a circus of value! Three Xbox 360 games this month.
CastleStorm, a carry-over from August’s PS Plus Free Games lineup, will be available from December 1-15 on Xbox 360. Then jump over to Sacred 3 for some 4-player co-op hack and/or slash starting from December 16-31.

Starting on December 16, Codemasters hits us again with something completely different – Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is free until the end of the year.
