The Rise of the Tomb Raider is coming so Major Nelson is starting the hype train with September’s free Games with Gold titles.
Xbox One
In August, Microsoft smartly gave Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes to Xbox Live Gold members. The promotional aspect of Games With Gold continues with Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition to remind us that Lara Croft is in some spectacular games again. Sadly, we’ll have to wait until September 16th to download it for free (available until October 15th).
For those antsy for something free, Dear God will be available starting September 1st.
Xbox 360
Starting September 1st, Battlestations Pacific will be free for Xbox Live Gold members but you’ll only have two weeks before the free-ness disappears on September 15th.
Then on September 16th, Crysis 3 is free through September 30th.
Remember, You the Nerdy, just start the download on all the Xbox 360 games. As Phil Spencer mentioned at Gamescom, all Xbox 360 Games With Gold titles will be backwards compatible on Xbox One when the feature goes live in November.
